An auspicious event to celebrate the UAE’s Golden Jubilee anniversary

Set among the breathtaking scenery of Hatta Dam, lighting takes this experiential event to another level. Working collaboratively with the scenic designer, site, and specialist lighting teams, an unforgettable lighting scheme is created. For the welcome reception, facade lighting enhances the architecture to wow the heads of state. Internal lighting illuminates an array of artwork to showcase the nation’s growth and development. Linking the spaces, a buggy route meanders through the mountains. Light is interspersed to allow majestic vistas of the dam and is used selectively to enhance the corten walls, creating a feeling of fire and candlelight. In the Majlis, light creates a ‘you have truly arrived’ moment. A play of light and shadow bathes the space in ethereal light. All elements work seamlessly together to produce a magical ambience and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
