The lighting scheme supports the design of the masterplanning team; snakes of illumination graze the undulating brickwork, layering light at different levels. Greenery is softly lit to create a balance of colour and tone. Sand dunes and rock formations are lit to enhance contrasting textures. Soft shadows flow into light, giving rise to natural form which is visible by day, transforming into a curious interpretation by night. A powerful and unmistakable landscape is created.
